That bride is Laura.
On her wedding day it rained. She envisioned walking through wildflowers with her friends and dancing out on the terrace with the vineyard in the background. All of this came to a stop when it started raining while Laura got ready.
But she didn't let that stop her from felling the joy of the day. Those two pictures will forever be my favorite for that reason.
And much to my delight, when it came time for Matt and Laura's day after session it was filled with sunshine and wildflowers...

This was the BEST day of my life and you captured it so beautifully! Looking at the pictures is just like reliving the day, it was amazing! I can't thank you enough for putting your heart into our day and capturing the memories that we will forever cherish. xo

I have to also say the picture of the handsome little boy with the freckles looks so innocent-that look isn't captured much here at home!

Mark and Gina's day it was simple to make these tangents for the bride and groom. Gina walking down State St. with her dad to get married in the cathedral she attended with her mother who passed too early. The bridal party made up with cousins and brothers. The cake knife passed on to the future brides of Gina's family.
Mark and Gina, here's to a big and beautiful marriage. Thank you for making Travis and I a part of the start!!

Erin's dad grew up in Boston so he's visited for over 50 years and when family vacation time rolled around, he took his family to Cape. Lindsay, Erin's sister, giggled during her speech about the long drive from St. Louis in the back of the station wagon while Neil Diamond played on the radio. She talked about the amazing memories they had growing up playing on the cool beach. And now they add Erin and Darren's wedding day to the list unforgettable moments.
Thank you Erin, Darren and Cosgrove family for inviting us to document and fall in love with Cape. We felt like another guest, like family, celebrate Erin and Darren. Thank you, we are so blessed.

(09.02.10 @ 06:44 PM)
I squealed when Richard Photo Lab finished Jon and Jessica's session. As the files uploaded one by one my excitement grew and caught Hughes' attention. He nosed his way to the computer and started asking...
"Are they real?" "Are they of this World?" I smiled because they are fair questions.
"yes and yes, they do look quite dreamy, don't they?"

Absolutely gorgeous! That field is AMAZING. Love it all, but the first & last shots? Perfection.

(08.30.10 @ 12:48 PM)This session is incredible. The colors are out of this world. I was wondering if it was film or digital, but looked back up at the post header. Are you shooting all film now? I don't know the first thing about shooting with film! You've done a great job with it!

Not only did you find the details you accentuated them perfectly. I told Amanda to call me right when the pictures went up and Amanda called me over joyed to the point of tears...at 6 A.M. this morning. You are the best, most talented, amazing photographer EVER!!!!!!!

Jessica and Jon did everything themselves for their wedding day. Everything! And it was all perfect and so them. I adore it all, epesically the Mr. and Mrs.'s.
What do I mean by everything?
The Flowers
The Cupcakes
The Paper Goods
The DJing
all The Details, check out their guest suitcase.
Even the music Jessica walked down the aisle was composed by Jon. Swooning.

Clary, these are beautiful! The photos are beautiful (amazing posing!), the bride and groom stunning. The details are oh so lovely, I wish I were a guest at that wedding!
Clary, your bridal party poses are so creative and the sun (I think?) coming through in the dancing pictures is incredible! Love your work!

(08.13.10 @ 08:22 AM)ust incredible--it's like they chose details of their wedding just to make it look photogenic in pictures!!! I love the relaxed, genuine feel to all of the pictures--these last two are gorgeous--I mean really, where in the heck do you find such beautiful people, weddings and locations? I swear that grass/greenery can't be real!
And kudos to them for doing so much of the wedding themselves--it seems to have had a very personal touch, and it's gorgeous!
(08.13.10 @ 08:52 AM)Clary, these are awesome! My favorite is the one of the wedding party in the background, doing their thing, with the bride and groom obliviously staring at each other...so cool! Can't wait for you to photograph us soon!

I especially love the one in the meadow with the sun setting behind them. This was truly a wonderful wedding, I have never felt so positive about two people getting married before. The relaxed, no-posing pictures are them, just having a blast & celebrating their love. I can't wait to see the rest. Wonderful job!

32! 13 attendents on each side, 1 miniature bride, 1 miniature groom, 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearer, plus bride and groom.
(07.28.10 @ 07:56 AM)Beautiful Clary! What building is this? This gives me hope though! We will have 9 on each side, a ring bearer, flower girl and 4 ushers...bring on the circus!
(07.28.10 @ 10:49 AM)I was a groomsman in a wedding party with 15 bridesmaids, 15 groomsmen, a ring bearer, and a flower girl, and the bride's dad was the minister. He went shoeless during the ceremony because he didn't realize that he was wearing one black and one brown shoe until the ceremony was about to begin.
(07.28.10 @ 11:01 AM)34! Bride & Groom + 12 attendants on each side, 2 ring bearers, 2 flower girls, and 4 ushers.
