The perspective of photographing a wedding day is such an emotional high, I'll never get over the honor and perspective. Seeing way the groom watch his favorite person on earth, hearing the dad give a speech that starts "I've dreamed of this day sense I heard 'it's a girl'", the Maid-of-Honor/Sister-of-the-Bride/girl you wish lived next to you so you could ask her do borrow a cup of sugar because she's so awesome doting on her little sister, and watching Andrew serenade "you look beautiful tonight" for his bride after months of secretly learning how to play the piano. It was all just so magical and heart-warming. I love this family and this couple!!

There are so many things to love about Ken and Dottie's wedding. The yellow cake, the paper goods (yum !! is my favorite), Ken loving on Dottie, the bridal party made up of their family and closest friends, the ladies red hair, oh! the flowers!!, and the prefect venue. All of this is a vision of Ken and Dottie's.

But the best part  of the day is when they exchanged vows in front of their loved ones. Silently, where just the two of them could hear. The way the laughed, smiled, shared their perfect chemistry was so beautiful to see.

A wedding filled with Wild Things, the prettiest colors of green, exquisite letterpress from here, a trolley ride to the Trolley Room, and bridal party who danced.

Vivian's long eye lashes, Emmett's handsome hair and that blue umbrella stamp on his hand! Ice Cream and joy. Pure joy. These images make me feel so blessed to know Tara, Jason, Vivian and Emmett. Inside my "happy mail" folder I have an email from Tara back in 2006 after Vivian's newborn session.

"Please make this your profession girl!"

This family drove all the way from Indiana for their maternity session. Kaila's beauty in that peach dress, that huge tree and the way Jon adores Kaila make this session so warm, so sweet. But then it got even better, the sun graced us after a day of clouds, turning everything from the fields to the new family, gold.

They met carpooling to work and feel in love waiting in traffic on Kennedy Expressway. Whitney's style is amazing, simply amazing. That yellow jacket, those blue shoes and the red lips. Perfection. And Andrew in that tie. Can wait to see you two as man and wife next May!!

They dated for 9 years. Married in a little chapel by the ocean and had their first dance as the sun dipped into the horizon. Best dressed after the bride and groom is grandpa in his green seersucker suit. Palm Trees and a pool win for the best wedding decor ever.
