These photos are beautiful. I actually have an old film camera that I still use from time to time. I really do love seeing what happens when I develop the photos. Sometimes they are hilarious. Sometimes they are horrible. It's always a guessing game that I love to play.

Film is so unbelievably romantic, and yet so rare these days. I have always been drawn to images captured in film, they exude such a beautiful softness. Just the excitement of not knowing what your images are going to look like creates such a fun and exciting dynamic. My interest in photography is a bit new, so I would love to get my hands on this bad boy and try it out! Thanks for such a great contest!

Your family pics always make my heart melt and you're right about the waiting for results. I remember our old impromptu phot sessions and having to wait for days to know if we had a good picture or not. Then jumping over each others shoulders trying to see the pictures first. Mainly I just wanted to say I'm jealous about the christmas tree farm. I had to get my tree from the home depot. We used to go to the mountains to cut trees as a kid. I miss that. Happy holidays!

I need photos of myself and my husband/business partner for our website. Romantic? I get to capture other people's romantic/love filled/hopeful days with the person I love more than anything in this world. I'd say that's pretty romantic. It wouldn't matter where or when - just capturing our every day - normal/dorky selves is my idea of romantic.

OK - My dorkyness really just showed because I didn't see the 27 words or less, so the end part is my idea... me and my husband no matter where or when just being our normal/dorky selves. That's my idea of romantic. And the date the winner is announced will be our 5 year wedding anniversary. What an awesome present that would be. No pressure.

I absolutely love using film! I think the idea of incorporating digital and film is a great concept.

I love the idea of shooting in the home for a newly married couple. It captures the "newness" and the idea of them creating a "home" together.

Clary, I am a hopeless romantic and find this challenge hard :) I would love a romantic session of Brett and I having an old fashioned date eating outside in the middle of nowhere with candles and then going for ice cream later. That is us :) But I would want to look glamorous while soaking in the night. Like 40's glam. Thanks :)

I'd love to have our engagement pictures shot somewhere warm and cozy feeling. The romantic winter pictures would be nice to contrast our future summer wedding pictures.

I know I used more than 27 words but I've never been good a summerizing. :)

Hello! I am in love with these photos! Simply put it is natural beauty captured at its best!
My Kind of Romantic: Crisp quiet December morning at the break of dawn, our breaths visible against the air, noses red from the cold, playing in the freshly fallen snow with my fiance of 7 months Waiting to enjoy the sunrise, rays striking the snow reflecting its sparkling beauty, in his arms. (I know a tid bit more than 27words but I had to paint the picture :)

My idea…me, Tommy, our new puppy, decorating for Christmas, hanging stockings and ornaments, in our new home. Celebrating the blessings of our first year of marriage!
