I know about their high school courtship, their engagement in Jamaica where Andrew surprise Kim with all their family, and the dueling piano's at the upcoming wedding reception.
All without ever meeting them until the most anticipated engagement session of the year.
You see, Kim is the lovely sister to my dear friend Stephanie.
And I'm a bit overwhelmed with honor and excitement to show these and photograph Kim and Andrew's wedding day.
The next images are some of my favorite ever. Kim you are perfectly gorgeous and Stephanie, you two really do look alike. Just saying.

A small peek into an engagement session from Chicago. The first is so breathtaking and peaceful. And yes, in the middle of Chicago I find a meadow tucked in the beautiful sky-rises of the city for Caroline and Chris' engagement session. What can I say, I'm a rebel:)Now lets discuss the fact that ClaryPhoto has traveled Planes, Trains and Automobiles (seriously we traveled by all three) this past month to photograph amazing people in Milwaukee, Cape Cod and Chicago. It was quite the adventure and there is so much to show you from these weddings and sessions I can hardly stand it. But I'm super excited to be home!! This week two awesome events take place around here, the very exciting St. Louis Shoot Party and our 5 year old son starting Kindergarten.
Hughes is starting Kindergarten. Wow. Can you believe it?!!

Wow. Clary. Wow. I'd stop there, but I can't. There IS something special about this. And I'm especially drawn to it because in few weeks I'm doing a shoot in a (public) garden with an old quilt and a couple in love...so this helps shape what I'm already feeling.
But anyway...amazing. They are beautiful together. And you are beautifully sewn in there as a welcome and needed third wheel with a camera. Wonderful. Fave pic is them lying beneath the tree from afar....high five, girl.

Ok. WHERE THE HECK did you shoot this?! This place is frickin amazing! Love that wall with the vines on it. Also LOVE that low angle shot of them in front of those buildings. And of course that first photo is MONEY. It's rare (for me) to see someone be put in front of a little tree and look so epic. Beautiful!

They're engineers! Between Dozer, engineers and having the session start at Eads Bridge, I'm in love**. Random fact for St. Louisans and engineers, in June 1874 the bridge was tested by an elephant walking across to prove it was safe.

Heather contacted me a few weeks before leaving for Las Vegas to attend WPPI. As destiny would have it, we would be at the same place at the same time. This engagement session is truly a favorite because the wide open space of the Red Rock Canyon. I just loved it. Then add Heather and Landon. Pow! I'm ecstatic!!
