These are simply stunning! Love every one of them. Where were they taken?

(06.29.11 @ 10:36 AM)Thank you! You're comments really mean so much. This is one of my favorite sessions. Andrea-half are on private property (gah!! the chandelier!! which I still think about your bracelets you made with crystals) and the other is on our property...in the middle of nowhere Illinois.

(06.29.11 @ 05:17 PM)It must have been an exhausting shoot. They seem to be taking lots of naps. (I'm her brother, and just kidding.) These are really great!

(06.29.11 @ 06:49 PM)These are incredible!! There is so much love radiating from these two, and I love how very sweet and carefree the tone of the shoot is. The details like the locket, chandelier, and Tom Petty quote are perfect! Fantastic job!
These are some of the most beautiful photos of pure love I have ever seen. My darling niece Elizabeth has met the love of her life, and her family out here on the "left coast" are thrilled!
(06.30.11 @ 03:12 PM)You had me at the Tom Petty song. Sigh :) Fabulous as always!

Beautiful! I especially love the ones with the tree branches. Lovely couple.
(11.30.10 @ 11:19 AM)Girl, your work has been on FIRE! Love this session. Makes me want to head back and spend more time in NYC. Man that city.... I think you should find a way to capture a couple there in every season. Snow would be LOVELY. See, I'm giving you reasons to take a vacation there ;)
(11.30.10 @ 12:29 PM)Clary! The photos are amazing! We love them! Thank you so much for coming out to NYC and helping us overcome our awkwardness! :) We can't wait for you to shoot our wedding next year!
(11.30.10 @ 09:51 PM)gorgeous images!

(12.01.10 @ 03:14 PM)Wow!! This is a beautiful engagement session. I love the tones you capture with the film. The trees and light are gorgeous. You captured the couple so nicely.
(12.08.10 @ 03:43 AM)
Cari and Jason have the above quintessential New York City shots that truly could do enough justice for a blog post of their engagement session. BUT there is so much more you better believe must be shown. The white and red graffiti wall, the city scape rising like 'sugar lumps' from the view of Cari and Jason's apartment, the beautiful brownstone streets. These shots are so wonderful! I am loving each and every one of them. Jason and I were so excited to have you come up to NYC for this shoot, and you exceeded our greatest expectations.
(11.22.10 @ 10:52 AM)OOOHHHHH CLARRYYY!!!!!! You just always blow me away with every post. Quoting a fabulous Fitzgerald line WITH this amazing blog post? GAHHHHH -- makes it one of my favorites from you of the year.
Man, that city. I am SO glad that getting to see it (twice!) happened for me in 2010. Memories that make me love this post even more!
(11.22.10 @ 10:58 AM)Somehow you managed to make the photos looks intimate and romantic in a busy city...only you!! Can't wait for a session with you soon :)
(11.22.10 @ 11:12 AM)Ah! This makes me soooo excited for our trip to NYC to visit our Elliott (and celebrate my birthday!) in December! Soooo soon :) :) Beautiful couple, gorgeous city, love the Gatsby ;)
(11.22.10 @ 11:42 AM)Cari!! So glad you love the images, NYC will always remind me of you and Jason. Gail, that is a favorite quote of mine, what I always imagined NYC to be like...and it was. Agree with you, it is a great city. L-session soon:) C of C&R-oh how I've missed that name!! I'm sending you an email of some things you must check out while there for pictures:) You are going to have such a great time!
(11.22.10 @ 01:10 PM)These are fantastic, Clary! Only your gifted eye could have given this couple such priceless images:-)
(11.22.10 @ 01:29 PM)Clary your photos are always so cool and you get to go to the most awesome places ever! It's so wonderful to see you living the dream =)
(11.22.10 @ 03:43 PM)So gorgeous! Cari and Jason, you look great and so happy. I love the black-and-whites.
(12.06.10 @ 01:11 PM)I don't know where their smoking hot clothing is from, but wherever it is, you should submit these photos because I can guaranteed they are every bit as good (better!) than the catalog version :)
Happy travels!
(10.18.10 @ 12:46 PM)I actually think this is one of my fave engagement sessions of yours ever... the lighting is so prefect, whether it's super even or super bold, and I love how they look so natural together, no matter how they are posing. Love the series of them with the bitty trees...but my fave fave is the B&W 2nd horizontal. Wow kapow. Ok, enough blabbing. ;)
(10.19.10 @ 05:20 PM)GOREGOUS! And I agree about the smokin' outfits. Wow. They look so happy, and the light is beyond!
(10.20.10 @ 08:59 PM)Oh yummy!! LOVE your fave too, Gail is right, submit these! Have a fab trip, can't wait to see what you get!
(10.22.10 @ 03:06 PM)Gorgeous! The light is so ethereal.
Is this Wash U?! But I can't place the lined trees or the last photo. I love the architecture, a place close to my heart :)
Hi Clary, I love your style! Gorgeous images. You are a great inspiration!
Best regards from Cologne, Germany :)
Nancy
We started at Katherine's college with their adorable adopted dog Izzie. Next week it's Heath's college finishing up at the park they feel in love.
So cool!!! I love the third one and I am also really loving the black and white one! CANNOT WAIT for the rest! Thanks Clary. :)
(10.05.10 @ 09:27 AM)This reminds me of our engagement session with our basset Annabelle. : )

(10.05.10 @ 12:49 PM)Drool!! I love your film work. Crazy good! And, I second Gail's comment.
(10.05.10 @ 01:10 PM)MORE FILM!!!
(10.05.10 @ 07:02 PM)oh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm totally in love with this session!!
film + you = ROCK!!!!! :)
Ah! I knew it! That was Wash U in Part II. Beautiful couple, fab photos!
We took photos at Wash U too for our wedding. Wish you had photo'd it :)
A note of something that was not so cool, the 35mm lens stopped working and did this strange things, almost like a tilt-shift lens. See if you can find which pictures are taken with the 35mm.
Even with a broken lens you still get gorgeous pictures!!! I love the colors in these shots.
(09.16.10 @ 09:57 AM)are they the south broadway shots?! if so, i like them!
(09.16.10 @ 09:34 PM)They are all beautiful. my guess for the 35 is 4,5,and or 6. Totally looks like you said you used a shift tilt if anything. Love them.
(09.17.10 @ 03:43 PM)

Clary, these are so pretty! LOVE the pop of red with the truck! :)
(07.18.11 @ 09:16 AM)LOVE the setting and her outfit!!! That gingham dress is perfect.
(07.18.11 @ 09:25 AM)PS if Seth Meyers and Ben Affleck had a baby, it'd be Joey.
in love with this session! so darling with that vintage sensibility I love!! :) :)
(07.18.11 @ 09:47 AM)Clary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(07.19.11 @ 09:35 AM)That's my favorite engagement session I have seen in here!!!!!
Love the red (my favorite color), love her eyes, her dress, the location, the light and of course the way you captured these! Each image is gorgeous!!!
Amazing!!!!!
I love the old truck and all of the orchard pictures. Especially the black and white ones.
