Collecting instant film cameras started on my third birthday, continuing into college when my final project revolved around the Polaroid Joy Camera which is pretty crazy. Now I'm passing this to my kids with pink and blue Fuji Instax. We've used these cameras for the ever changing seasons of Hughes and Jettie...
but now it's your turn to fall in love. Simply leave a comment answer the below questions for my entertainment:) I'll select a winner on Thursday who will receive one fantastic white Fuji Instax Mini 7.
1. Name?
2. Have you ever owned an instant camera?
3. breakfast or dinner?
ps-giving a shout to our favorite breakfast in Chicago Sweet Maples (pancakes and Jettie pictured above) and dinner, XOCO (Caldos and churros with Mexican ice cream pictured above).
***WINNER***
1. Paule Leme
2. Not enough of you have EVER had an instant camera. If I could give one to each and every one of you with out one...I WOULD!
3. Breakfast for dinner seams to the be the favorite. I totally agree. Personally, toast with gooseberry jam, bacon and eggs with a really big glass of orange juice. Yum.

3) Dinner person; but does breakfast for dinner on occasion count too? :)
Clary, your kids are so cute! Actually, the whole family is beautiful!
(04.19.10 @ 04:03 PM)1. Lindsey
2. Not me, but I remember my mom's polaroid in my tween years. She LOVED that thing, and even had some crazy prism lenses for it too. I find random photos from it every so often, and they always make me smile. Sadly, I don't know what happened to the camera though. I wish I had it.
3. Breakfast at dinnertime! Tonight in our house it's lox with cheesy eggs :)
1) Hanna Salonen
(04.19.10 @ 04:04 PM)2)Yes! Love the fact that you can't control much and the results are unexpected and fun!
3)Breakfast. with bacon!
I love seeing your family photos. I can't believe how big Hughes and Jettie are!!! Sarah, no and dinner...although pizza for breakfast works for me, too. :D Hope you are doing well!!! Tim says hi, too.

(04.19.10 @ 10:39 PM)2. Unfortunately, no. When I was a kid I thought View-Masters (remember those red binocular-looking things that you looked at wheels of pictures in?) were instant cameras. Imagine my disappointment when I realized I never took all those mountain-range photos!
3. I frequently find myself eating last night's leftovers in the mornings. So dinner for me.
Meg: no, sadly I never had one... though I was allowed to use a film camera of my mum's that was a "half frame", boy you could get a lot of pics on one film!! Who could not want one after seeing those pics (above I mean)?
(04.19.10 @ 11:08 PM)Pretty keen on breakfast myself, toast with vegemite preferably, yum yum. I reckon the constant loading does of vitamin b keeps the mosquitoes away.
-Kim

In the suburbs there is this great breakfast place called Walker brothers. I have only been to the one near Evanstan ( I don't think it is in Evanstan, it is in a city next door...maybe Wilmette).
(04.20.10 @ 09:51 AM)Meredith*****I had one of those goofy polaroids that says a message when you press the shutter.
